Исторический максимум по бумагам «Газпрома» на Мосбирже был зафиксирован 22 мая 2008 года на уровне ₽369,5 за акцию. На тот момент, с учетом тогдашнего курса валют (₽23 за доллар), капитализация компании составляла около $360 млрд. В середине 2008 года Алексей Миллер на Европейском деловом конгрессе в Довиле заявлял, что капитализация компании в течение следующих семи-восьми лет достигнет уровня в $1 трлн.

Акции «Газпрома» в четверг, 2 сентября, подорожали на Московской бирже до ₽314 (+0,4%) за бумагу. С учетом того что в обращении сейчас находится 23 673 512 900 акций «Газпрома», капитализация компании достигла отметки ₽7,43 трлн. По курсу доллара ₽72,78 на открытии торгов рыночная стоимость компании достигла $102,12 млрд.

The General Motora reached a U.S. market share of around 16.81 percent in the second quarter of 2022, ahead of Toyota Motor by around two points. In the second quarter of 2022, GM's U.S. vehicle sales totaled about 578,400 units, while Toyota sold roughly 483,600 vehicles in the United States. At around 409,100 units sold, Stellantis was the leading European manufacturer accounting for 11.89 percent of the market sales.

General Motors was the market leader in terms of U.S. light vehicle sales in the first half of 2022. Between January and June 2022, consumers in the United States bought around 1.1 million GM vehicles, making General Motors the producer of approximately 16.08 percent of the automobiles sold in the U.S. during that time.
Rebounding after a pandemic-related dip
U.S. light-vehicle sales are stalling: the U.S. automotive industry sold roughly 14.9 million light vehicles between January and December 2021. This compares to about 14.5 million units one year before and close to 17 million vehicles in 2019. The trend is no different for America’s most popular manufacturer. GM’s light vehicle sales dipped in 2020, compared with the figures reported for the same twelve months in 2019. However, one must admit that this comes amid a global pandemic. Additionally, the U.S. automotive industry had several good years between 2015 and 2018, when consumers purchased more than 17 million light vehicles annually for an unprecedented four years in a row. This stellar spell came to an end in 2019.
